Description:

Climbing plant with a shrub habit of the Nyctaginacee family. Originally from Brazil, it has fickle stems, often thorny, and semi-evergreen, oval, light bright green leaves, used heart-shaped. The flowers are tiny, tubular, white or cream, but they are subtended by large colored bracts, typically fuchsia pink. There are numerous varieties, with white, yellow, red, orange, lilac bracts.

Ground:

It is preferable to use mixed and well-drained soils.

Light:

It prefers full sun conditions.

Water:

Do not exceed with watering.

Temperature:

With temperatures falling below 5 ° C, cultivation must be done in pots so as to store the plant in sheltered places during the coldest periods.
