Description:

Oleander (Nerium Oleander) is an evergreen shrub belonging to the Apocynaceae family. The plant has narrow, lanceolate, dark green leaves. The flowers, particularly showy, can be of different colors (from pink to white, from red to yellow) both simple and double. Originally from the Middle East, it grows spontaneously in the Mediterranean regions, thanks to its excellent resistance to salt and drought.

The oleander blooms in the summer and early autumn.

Ground:

It adapts to most soils and is also tolerant of salinity.

Light:

The species prefers full sun conditions to bloom, but also tolerates less bright conditions.

Water:

Medium water needs during growth. Drought tolerant.

Temperature:

If exposed to prolonged frost it must be repaired.
